Jamie Spencer is on yet another fancied mount in My Love Thomas who is selected ahead of Fabuleux Millie, Golden Desert and Pusey Street Lady. My Love Thomas looked one to follow when making a winning debut over the course-and-distance last November, coming late on the scene to collar Kyle. She has had two outings in handicaps this year, and on the latest occasion was just beaten by Pusey Street Lady, whom she now meets on fully 11lb better terms. That gives Ed Dunlop's filly a big advantage, and she is confidently expected to turn the tables on that rival, although another furlong would not come amiss. Fabuleux Millie had Golden Desert a place behind at Ascot a fortnight ago, and there should be little between that pair again, the latter once again sporting a visor that saw him run quite keenly before being passed for third by Ralph Beckett's charge. They appear to be the leading contenders, with My Love Thomas taken to prevail.
