A trappy finale in which FORMULA is the call with El Diego and Rowan Tiger others worthy of the shortlist. The gelding is somewhat surprisingly stepped up in trip but he has placed at the course on a couple of occasions and while hardly open to much in the way of progression, he could prove good enough. El Diego has gone well fresh in the past. He clearly is not the easiest to train but his handler has enjoyed a very good season thus far. Rowan Tiger has won two recent starts at Kempton. If he is as effective going this way around, he has to be a major player. Mary Goodnight won well on debut at Windsor though hasn't been since taking exception to the bend there in August. Bassinet has gone well in the past for Jim Crowley and he is back to a winning mark this afternoon. Matthew Salaman has his string in good order so watch out for any market confidence behind Merrymadcap. Fantasy Princess has not shown a great deal this term though the application of a first time tonguestrap makes her of some interest. Hazy Dancer may need a little more help from the handicapper at present. Formula is the pick in a race where few can be discounted.
