EMERALD GIRL is the pick with Almadaa and Haltela on the shortlist. The presence of Paul Hanagan at his very bottom weight catches the eye here and while this is a tough assignment versus her run at Hamilton; Richard Fahey has carried pretty much all before him on the Knavesmire this term. Almadaa is first time up in a handicap. Still a maiden, his third to Swilly Ferry at Lingfield is decent form. Haltela has plenty of early pace and is taking a drop in grade. Marine Spirit has a bit to prove having been turned over at Folkestone at odds on in an easier race. Gertmaglush is quirky though has the ability if consenting to put it all in. Wasmi was given a 10lb rise for winning unchallenged at Kempton though the return to turf is an unknown quantity. Colepeper has got plenty of weight for a convincing win at Catterick whilst Bossy Kitty has gone well in the past and should give each-way supporters a good run for their money. Emerald Girl is the pick in a race where plenty can be given chances.
