Good Gorsoon will be popular but looks worth taking on with LEMON N SUGAR or Tagula Night. Good Gorsoon impressed when making every yard under today's pilot at Newmarket but an 8lb rise appears to be something of an overreaction given that it was the colt's first success in fifteen starts. In fairness, he is just 1lb higher than his previous winning mark but we prefer to take a chance with Lemon N Sugar. She has a record of steady progression with plenty of course form to her name and she may have more to offer on her return from a break. Macdillon has lost his way since finishing second to Shamwari Lodge but the yard have sent out a winner this week whilst Crystal Moments is 1lb lower than when chasing home Swiss Diva over course and distance in May; an effort which makes her worthy of close consideration. Tagula Night came up short on his hat-trick bid in a handicap at the Leger meeting but he had won readily over course and distance prior to that and may prove capable of better still. He'll need to be though as there are some useful performers in this contest where we're siding with Lemon N Sugar.
