Pererin, Savernake Brave and Zonnebeke look the three to concentrate on in this poor contest and the vote goes to Pererin. The selection was a good second behind Eddies Jewel last time out and with the drop in trip sure to suit and from what looks a good draw he will be hard to beat. Savernake Brave rates the main danger he was a good second behind Stellite over this trip last time out but he gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Zonnebeke is another worthy of respect on his latest fourth behind Labelled With Love in a better race but his best form is also over a longer trip. La Calera was behind Labelled With Love last time and has a little to find even on these revised terms. Of the remainder Young Kate is from a shrewd yard and is fairly unexposed so is worth noting in the market but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Pererin.
