A few old friends here and GUISEPPE VERDI is the answer to this conundrum with Bee Stinger and Clipperdown among the more likely dangers. The selection has reappeared under the care of Tor Sturgis after leaving John Gosden. A winner on reappearance over course-and-distance, he can be forgiven his Newbury run as he has tended to show significantly more ability on the polytrack. Bee Stinger was something of a standing dish for Ian Wood over a mile. Now with Heather Dalton, there is the obvious concern as to how forward he will be after almost six months off. Clipperdown quickly returns to the flat after a lamentable show over hurdles. He runs up to his mark in races of this nature but would have been significantly better off were this a handicap. Dawson Creek has been desperately out of form of late and will not be winning races until learning how to settle in the early stages of his races. Ex-Italian performer, Gasat, has not gone on after showing initial promise. Randama Bay seems to need this trip these days while Primo Dilettante and Tignello retreat into plating company having cut little ice in handicaps. Guiseppe Verdi has most positives in a race where it is impossible to be too dogmatic about any of them.
