SHIBHAN is selected to see off Public Service and James Barrymore. Clive Brittain's charge has taken a while to come to hand but there was a lot to like about a recent victory at Chester and now that the trainer has discovered her abilities over seven rather than five furlongs, we are prepared to row in again. Public Service floundered badly on soft going at Haydock. The yard have given him plenty of time to recover from that experience and any money in the ring should be heeded. James Barrymore has his first run on the turf having campaigned previously on artificial surfaces. He could be anything. Ice Cool Lady lost her chance at Pontefract in the stalls though is better judged on a fair effort at Folkestone behind Mudaaraah. Greek Key has been easy to back in three maidens though with Michael Bell saddling a couple of juvenile winners of late, he wouldn't be out of the reckoning. Pat Seamur has struggled to land a blow as yet whilst Oasis Jade ran an odd sort of race at Brighton on handicap debut and is now stepped up substantially in trip. Not a strong nursery so Shibhan appears to have the most creditable case on recent racecourse evidence.
