Selection has proven difficult for this maiden but although good recent form is in short supply it should be a competitive affair where SAFARI GUIDE gets the nod, ahead of Regeneration and Towy Boy. The selection was an unlucky second when last seen here over 7f just two starts ago. He paid the price for a poor draw there but returns here on a decent mark so should be able to snatch the honours. Regeneration has been seen once since showing some ability over 7f at Newmarket on her debut last October, and performed with plenty of credit last time. She has a speedy pedigree and may appreciate the better ground here. Second at the last time of asking, Towy Boy ran a much improved race and should make the frame here. He'll need to get off to a better start than last time but should do well. Wicksy Creek and Titus Gent are in with a shout in a race of this quality but we cautiously side with Safari Guide.
