Turtle Dove can get the better of Sir Billy Nick and Clearing House in this maiden. The selection shaped like a future winner when she chased home Moon Crystal at Kempton last time. She did nothing wrong that day and nominal improvement should make her tough to beat. Sir Billy Nick did best of the newcomers on his debut, despite running quite green. There should be more to come from him and it would be no surprise to see him go close. Clearing House is a well-bred newcomer who is certainly worth a look in the market on his racecourse bow. He is related to several sprint winners and if the market vibes are positive then it could pay to take the hint. Speyside is a half-brother to an Italian winner and he was not beaten far on his debut when he shaped as though he would come on for the experience. He is another to factor in, but we prefer the claims of Turtle Dove who is taken to score.
