In depth

Verdict

A tricky contest gets proceedings underway and all can be given some sort of chance but the principals look to be Stir Crazy, Hucking Hill and Wayboya Downs and the narrow vote is given to Stir Crazy. The selection was a good third on his debut. Is sure to have come on for the run and given nominal improvement he will be hard to beat. Hucking Hill rates the main danger as he was a fair fourth on his debut behind Bazroy but he gave the impression he would be suited by a longer trip on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. Wayboya Downs is another that showed a modicum of ability on his debut and is sure to improve but his stable are not renowned for two year old winners. Of the remainder Heart Of Gold and Mrs Crossy are from yards in form and should be noted in the market but in a race where the market may well tell all for the winner we return to Stir Crazy.
