There was a bit of a racecourse buzz about Ampoule here last time and he may well have finished in the frame had he not met with trouble in running inside the final furlong. He was not given a hard time once his chance had gone and there is surely better to come from him. Any further confidence from the betting ring should be taken notice of today. True Companion was another who met with interference in the same race but he was looking held at the time and the assessor may already have his measure. Therefore it might be worth chancing Weecandoo finally breaking her duck today. The Turtle Island filly seems to be at her best at around this trip and has shaped as if winning a maiden is just a formality on more than one occasion. Her fillies allowance gives a good chance at the weights and she must go close if she can build on her effort from last time out. Ehab may prove to be best of the rest.
