This really is a race to treat with caution and will do little to enhance the profile of the Channel 4 Lunchtime fare. However, the race must still be won and narrowing down the field to previous winners is not too difficult as only a handful have already tasted success. Coppington Flyer is a consistent sort and arrives here in cracking form after a comprehensive victory at the weekend. The 6lb penalty obviously make life a little more difficult for her but it would be dangerous to rule her out of the equation in current frame of mind. However, Whippasnapper is another to consider after a game effort here last time and if he gets the trip he is sure to be involved in the shake-up. His lack of experience at seven furlongs could ensure that he goes off at a decent price but he is a speedy individual, who deserves a change of fortune now. He is our selection today. Effective, Yellow River and Penny Valentine are others for the shortlist.
