Soft Focus is taken to master Farthing, with Angel River and Yeldham Lady also in with a shout. Soft Focus is on the upgrade judging by here recent effort over the course and distance when she divided Angel River and Farthing. She was beaten half a length off level weights and now meets the winner on seven-pound better terms, so her chance is obvious. She is drawn inside Angel River today, which is another plus point, although Farthing, only a neck behind last time, is also better off and in turn is on her immediate inside in stall eight. It could boil down to just who gets the best run, and the latter pair mentioned were certainly done no favours last time, so both will be expected to reverse the form with today's topweight. Yeldham Lady was a narrow winner over further in selling company last time and has more to do, and the remainder are all out of form at present. For the winner then we return to Soft Focus who has a great chance of losing her maiden tag.
