        Verdict

        This isn't a particularly competitive race and Egyptian Lord is weighted to reverse form with Rapsgate on their recent running, with Developer and Luloah others to consider. The selection was beaten by a quarter-of-a-length by Rapsgate when both were last seen out at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day. With a 4lb pull for that defeat, Peter Grayson's gelding looks to have a clear chance of reversing those placings, and we take him to do so on his first appearance at Lingfield. Developer has to give weight away all around, and though he is dropping to a more realistic now, he may need to come down a few pounds more to get truly competitive. Of the others, Luloah won a poor Southwell contest last time, but at least has shown us she can win, but we prefer Egyptian Lord to get his nose in front again.
