A tricky finale that may go the way of Nearly a Fool with Pancakehill and Lucid Dreams given as live dangers. George Margarson's gelding has had a break for the last three months after a fruitless campaign in September, however he was successful over course and distance last March and if back to that sort of form he should go very close. Pancakehill was slaughtered at Southwell last time but is better judged on her previous outing when finishing a close up fifth behind Pants over course and distance. Pancakehill and Lucid Dreams met here in March when they filled the places behind Tuscarora, there was little between them on that occasion and at today's weights they should be pretty much together again. Scarrottoo has some quite decent turf form on his CV and if handling the Polytrack could take a hand in the finish., but in a race that takes some sifting through Nearly A Fool is just given the verdict.
