The ability to jump a fence has to be taken on trust with a few of these and, although Tanikos is undoubtedly better than he showed in what turned out to a farce of a race on his chasing debut, it may pay to give Idiome a chance to shine on his first start for quite some time. Of the rest: Priory Wood, Fairtoto and Charlies Future are worth monitoring for support and cannot confidently be ruled out in a race that could be full of pitfalls. However, Lavinia Taylor is more than capable of having Idiome ready for the task in hand and this former French chaser can put his experience to good use against some fairly modest opposition. Under the Sand has chances on the best of his hurdles form but has not really caught the imagination as yet in this sphere. Therefore, Idiome gets the vote as he is sure to have been primed for what looks to a realistic level for him to be reintroduced to competitive action.
