    Verdict

EXTREME PLEASURE may be able to give us something to smile about here although she does come with risks attached. Rutba is clearly the one to beat whilst Forget It should be there or thereabouts gain. Marcus Tregoning's decision to slap a visor on Rutba has paid dividends as the gelding hasn't looked back since gaining his maiden success in the headgear at Yarmouth. Two subsequent successes have seen his mark rise to a perch some 19lbs higher than for that win at the seaside track but it would be folly to believe that there wasn't a little more left in the locker. Forget It chased him home last time and has a handy 5lb swing in his favour for two lengths which gives him a theoretical chance of gaining revenge but the Hannon runner lacks the progressive profile of his rival. Those are the two with obvious claims but it may pay to look further afield and we'll take a chance with William Knight's handicap debutante. She's beautifully bred and is a half-sister to several black type performers, a number of whom saw out this sort of trip pretty well. She's hardly thrown in here but her handler has a decent strike rate at the track and she looks certain to improve for this longer trip so Extreme Pleasure makes a deal of each-way appeal.
