EBIAYN had a stiff task last time out, and is preferred to Mared and El Loco Uno in an intriguing maiden where there are some interesting newcomers who should be watched in the market. Jeremy Noseda's Mared has shown promise in both starts to date, a little outpaced in what seemed a decent contest at Headquarters last time. However, that was an improved effort and further improvement can see him go close. El Loco Uno's debut was a fine performance, finishing a close second behind a subsequent prolific winner. The second display was disappointing at Kempton, and a watching brief is advised. Ebiayn was a drifter in the market at Newbury last time, but found himself up against a classy individual in Border Patrol and was readily outpointed. There is nothing of that class here, and Ebiayn can show them a clean pair of heels.
