Those with plenty of experience look modest to say the least and it may be worth chancing ELVIRA MADIGAN. Andrew Balding's filly was expected to need the run at Kempton on debut (started 12/1 in a modest enough race) but ran with plenty of credit, getting the hang of things late on to fill fourth spot. She has a good draw this afternoon and should be a lot wiser. Anaya only went down by a nose at Wolverhampton last time out but she has had enough chances and so along with If I Were A Boy she is taken on. Goldtrek started off life in a maiden that has worked out exceedingly well, Leaving Alone finished ahead of the selection last time out but already had the benefit of a run, whilst the Oratorio filly Mushagak looks the most interesting of the newcomers. Al Shababiya looks to be starting off at the right trip, whilst Fairy Light and Lily In The Pond both shaped with plenty of promise on their respective debuts. An open start to the card, but preference is for Elvira Madigan.
