The form shown so far is nothing to get too excited about and so Spanish Springs is taken to make a winning debut. John Gosden's filly is likely to get further in time as she is related to several winners over further, however with the stable in good form a bold show should be anticipated. Shesha Bear could be of some interest on her debut but the stable are not renowned for sending out debutante winners. In contrast, Ralph Beckett does well with his juveniles and so Istria, a fairly cheap purchase, needs a check in the betting. Monashee Rock has shown glimpses of ability to date, whilst improvement can be expected from Al Aqabah after just one fairly promising run. At a price Oceana Blue could run into a place, however Spanish Springs gets the vote.
