Verdict
Mistral Sky, Overwing and Monte Major form the shortlist in this handicap and the vote is given to Mistral Sky. The selection is a course and distance winner and he arrives here in good form having beaten Herb Paris at Kempton last time. He has a good draw today and he should prove tough to beat. Overwing rates the main danger as she has the ability to go close, but she has yet to score this year and she is probably slightly better over the minimum trip. However, she does have a good low draw and she is entitled to respect. Monte Major is another that has shown all his best form over 5f and that is a slight worry, but he goes well here and has now won four times at the track. The booking of Jamie Spencer catches the eye for Gilded Cove and he can also go well, but there is plenty to like about Mistral Sky who gets the pick.
