FITZ and Come On Buckers rate highly following their runs at Kempton but there are a host of unexposed runners in the field that may well prove capable of improving past them. The problem is that it's difficult to make a case for the likes of Cake Stand, Cardenio, Winterfell, Countryside Lass, Reel Hope, Lana's Charm et al on the form that they've shown thus far. However, none of that sextet have raced more than five times and it would be no surprise were one of them to land this contest; hopefully, the market will provide some assistance. Come On Buckers went down by a head over seven furlongs at Kempton to fill that position for the fifth time in his career. He tried to make most of the running on that occasion which isn't easy to do at this venue and he looks opposable. Matthew Salaman will be keen to notch an early winner having taken over the licence from his father and Fitz may well fit that bill. He had to be dropped in from a low draw at Kempton but finished strongly and can be rated a little unlucky. That was the first time that he's made the frame in six attempts and Fitz may be able to open his account at the seventh time of asking.
