The precedent for this card has already been set and this is not a race to get heavily involved in for chasing loses. However, something has to win and Givimaninch is just preferred to Mimic and Lady Liesel, with Prima Falcon one to monitor if she is supported. The selection met trouble in running at a crucial stage behind Hey Pesto at Salisbury last time, but he caught the eye in sticking to the task in hand once his chance had gone. The winner gave the form a solid boost at Newmarket last Saturday and David Elsworth's charge does not have too much to find to go a couple of places better today, despite the daunting amount of runners. Mimic put in an improved display last time but does look a little short of toe for this trip and is not one to get carried away about after one solid effort. Lady Liesel is another who looks capable of going close if she can better her effort at Folkestone last month. But as that cannot be guaranteed, the lightly raced Prima Falcon could be the one for a long shot to nick a chunk of place money for her shrewd trainer.
