DESERT STREAK can prevail in the finale at the main expense of Hatman Jack and Agnes Love. The selection deserves to get his head in front again as he was only narrowly beaten last time out after winning well on his handicap debut. He still looks to be on a competitive mark and he is progressive so he makes plenty of appeal. Hatman Jack won a handicap over this course and distance last time but the cheek-pieces that seemed to have a positive effect that day are dispensed with here which is a slight cause for concern. Agnes Love won over 5f at Kempton last month and this longer trip is a negative for her as she bids to follow that success up. Keep Dancing is having only her second run on the all-weather so she could be of interest, but a safer bet would appear to be Desert Streak who gets our vote.
