HINT OF GREY (NAP) now finds herself heading a handicap but definitely sets a good standard for a race of modest quality. Cleverly placed by the ever-shrewd Don Cantillon to land two of three starts in the current campaign, both under promising apprentice George Wood, the Mastercraftsman filly showed a good turn of foot to sweep clear here last time over 10f and should not be inconvenienced by the additional yardage. Dor's Law and Hearty have shown enough in ordinary handicaps to play a prominent role with the latter rated the main threat to the selection as he's certain to stay. whilst Madame Claud could be an improver now her attentions are turned to handicaps after bits and pieces of form in maiden company. George Baker is a good booking for Hughie Morrison with more expected from her as a three-year-old.
