The Michael Jarvis-trained Khe Sanh really caught the eye on her debut and is fancied to follow up today; possibly at the main expense of Lady Pilot and Molly Dancer. The last named is open to improvement on the all weather and has shaped as if she is worth a try at this trip for a while now. She also hails from a yard that are flying at present and she can represent good each-way value at the likely odds. Lady Pilot also as solid claims on these terms and rates as the main danger to the selection. She is related to winners at home and on the continent and it will be very interesting to note how she fares on this first crack at a mile. However, Khe Sanh already has that experience behind her and is something of a stand out in this company. The Mtoto filly was clueless when she exited the stalls on her debut over course and distance in February and took a little time to warm to the task. Nevertheless, she picked in very pleasing fashion near the finish on that occasion and ran on strongly to score in convincing style. If anything this is an easier opportunity and the mount of Phillip Robinson is very much the one to beat here.
