Rod Millman and Alan Munro have been a good partnership to follow in the short time since the turf season started and they can strike again with Azygous, who is related to Kentucky Derby runner up Bold Arrangement on his dams' side, so should handle this surface. Jazz At The Sands is bred to appreciate faster ground than he encountered on his debut and, along with Angelina Banks, is respected as the best of the rest. The selection is regarded as a nice prospect by his trainer and, with his crop of two-year-olds well forward, it is safe to assume that Azygous will attract plenty of interest if the confidence is mirrored in the betting ring. The purchase price of Jazz At The Sands means he has no easy task in conceding in excess of 5lb to the rest of the field. However, a much better effort is expect from him now that he has the benefit of experience behind him and he can go close today. Angelina Banks failed to progress in her second outing and, despite it being early days for her, she does have a little improvement to find. Therefore, we prefer to side with Azygous on this occasion as, with the Brocklesby already under their belt, his yard can do little wrong at present.
