The benefit of the doubt is given to Storm Chance, who narrowly failed to land a huge gamble at Warwick three days ago but the fact he is turned out so quickly suggests he will be expected to atone today. Cool Sands, Epitomise and Worth Abbey are others that can be considered as dangers, while Bobski remains unexposed but faces a very stiff introduction to handicaps from top weight in only his second career start. He is also upped in distance today and looks vulnerable. Worth Abbey hails from a shrewd operation and any each-way support will be dangerous to ignore. Tony Carroll's charge comfortably held Manic when they met over course and distance at the start of last month and should at least confirm the form with a similar run. Epitomise also has a little to prove from that outing and, were it not for two poor efforts since, Worth Abbey would have been given the nomination, As it is, he now has to prove his well being and he could be risky for win only purposes. Cool Sands arrives here on the back of a confidence boosting win from last time out and is respected. However, he has never been the most consistent of horses and may lack a finishing kick again. Therefore, we switch to Storm Chance, who looks to be hitting form at the right time for this and is expected to be seen to better effect on this firmer surface.
