This is tricky, with the vote going to Lady Suesanne ahead of Sukuma, Taylor Maid and Farthing. Beginning with Sukuma, well, her second to Gurrun two runs ago puts her firmly in the mix, while the lightly-raced Taylor Maid looked to be improving when fourth on her latest outing, just the third of her career. The third from that race has since finished placed from a mark of 65 so it remains to be seen if the handicapper has her mark right. Farthing failed to carry forward her fair run over today's trip two runs ago last time, and now reverts to seven furlongs, so she might be seen in a better light. Of the others, Bedtime Blues could improve for the step up in trip today, while Soft Focus improved in first-time blinkers last time and more improvement might come over today's longer trip. Lady Suesanne was just ahead of her that day and, to be fair, looked more likely to appreciate a step up in trip. As such, she gets the vote in a tricky affair.
