A very nice prize for four-year-olds which should have attracted a stronger field. The filly BELLE METAL could hardly have done it any easier at Naas, making all and coming right away in the closing stages. She'll improve for the experience and will take some beating and her trainer should know how he stands with Silas Marner, who was beaten over seven lengths by the stable's Dark Raven at Leopardstown with Fancy A Cosmo a long way behind. Boothen Boy made his debut over hurdles at Navan and showed enough pace for connections to try him in a bumper while Derek O'Connor's mount Judicial Law is by Fame And Glory out of a winning bumper.
