In depth
Verdict
A competitive opener in which most appear to have a chance, though Emma Lavelle’s pair are returning from a break. Irish Prophecy will be back over fences sooner rather than later but DAGUENEAU is potentially well treated and has gone well fresh in the past – he might be some value on going that suits. Ecco arrives in good form but is still edging up the weights. Bannixtown Glory has won three times already this campaign but the ground may have turned against Bells Of Peterboro and the handicapper is taking no chances with Stoner's Choice. South Terrace won a Catterick maiden in December but has switched stables since.
