This doesn't look the most difficult of maidens to win and a chance is taken on Jim Bolger's newcomer MYRINE. It's rare to find an unraced four-year-old from the yard but this one has an outstanding pedigree being a half-sister to the Arc winner Sagamix and to several other very useful winners. Ruler Of All showed little for Henry Candy and Edward O'Grady will be hoping to bring about some improvement though a bigger threat may emerge in the shape of Sublime Talent, a disappointment so far but a close relative of the high-class pair Sights On Gold and Simple Exchange. Agricola is probably unlucky not to have lost his maiden tag and looks best of the remainder.
