Spanish Tenor had been aiming high before a couple of reasonable efforts on ground too soft. BIG BABY BULL went up 10lb for a victory at the Curragh last year which halted his progress. He’s now just 1lb higher and has a 10lb claimer on board so gets the vote to return to winning ways. The lightly-raced Young Angel tackles the trip for the first time and hasn’t been stopping over 6f so has to be greatly respected but Is That Love went up 10lb for his sixth victory of the year at Listowel which stopped him in his tracks at Bellewstown. Avagardner is up 7lb for a shock victory at the Curragh but Coins Cross is on the same mark as when narrowly beaten into third over a mile on the same track.
