Verdict

Having switched to Rebecca Menzies’ yard, Ingleby Hollow went close at Perth and Cartmel in August and won twice on the Flat earlier. Irish raider Uncle Henry has run well the last twice but Sarasota Star is 5lb higher than when scoring over fences last month. Pasvolsky clearly needed the run behind Small Bad Bob at Fontwell and is likely to get much closer but Fergal O’Brien holds a strong hand in this. The stable’s conditional Liam Harrison rides the hat-trick seeking Samba Dancer but Timberman and BYZANTINE EMPIRE also have claims. The latter has had wind surgery and has the makings of a decent handicapper so gets the nod getting 17lb from the unbeaten Samarrive.
