Several of these have been jumping but it's the very progressive and lightly-raced SIMKANA who gets the nod. John Oxx's filly is a half-sister to the brilliant Sinndar and the Ascot Stakes winner Sindapour so stamina is unlikely to be a problem and she looked a very nice staying prospect when landing what looked a strong maiden here two weeks ago. Mutadarek stays well and likes some give in the ground so any rain would aid his cause while the former Germany-trained Macidoni is another who will be suited by a test of stamina. Peacock's Pride landed a maiden hurdle at Cork in May and is progressing along the right lines but Hawk Flight, despite a fair run at Dundalk last time, is still a maiden after 17 starts. Spring Hawk is consistent enough and stays well but is now on a career-high mark.
