Three-year-old don't have a great recent record in this but Convergence and The Warrior both ran in the 2000 Guineas with Ger Lyons' colt doing best. Lyons also runs Cappella Sansevero, who has contested both the English and German 2000 Guineas this year but this looks too tough for Shepherd's Purse. Eastern Rules is very tough and is sure to give a good account but it's almost three years since Sovereign Debt last won on Turf, though he did land a Listed race on the Tapeta in the spring. TESTED (NAP) has a penalty for winning a Group 3 at Tipperary in August but she has the ground in her favour for her reappearance and there should be more to come this year. Dermot Weld's filly may be the one to beat.
