Older horses have won the last two but three-year-olds have a very good record. COUGAR MOUNTAIN has been mixing it with the very best since his debut success at Naas last summer and though he's failed to score subsequently this represents a huge drop in class from taking on the likes of Solow and Golden Horn so he should have few problems getting back on the winning trail. Convergence has done brilliantly for Ger Lyons and deserved his victory at this level over Tested here in June. There's probably a bit of improvement in him as there is in the filly Raydara, a Group 2 winner at the Curragh a year ago and not beaten far there last month. Tamadhor found 1m2f and Group 1 company too much for her in the Pretty Polly Stakes but has some smart form and Bold Thady Quill arrives in good form though faces a very tough task on these terms.
