Gilt Edge Girl is a fine testimony to the training talents of Clive Cox as she has only once been out of the first three in a dozen starts. She may be still improving as her Listed success at Bath last time was her best effort to date. UK trainers have won three of the five runnings of this event so another from across the sea, BEYOND DESIRE, gets the vote to extend the sequence. Michael Jarvis' filly showed good pace and promise in her opening campaign and looked a sprinter to follow when landing a Listed contest at Haydock in grand style on her reappearance. Atasari reverts to sprinting after failing to fire behind Bethrah in the Irish 1000 Guineas. An earlier close second to the winner is a better guide to her ability. Miss Gorica has hit her best form as she has shown with her two recent battles with Rain Delayed while Glorified went into many notebooks as one to follow with an impressive debut over 7f at Dundalk.
