RAINBOW VIEW has produced a string of decent efforts in top company this season but her campaign has still been considered somewhat of a disappointment having had such high hopes following her efforts as a two-year-old. But this looks an excellent chance to break her duck in 2009 with the combination of easy ground and mile trip looking right up her street. Mudlark Again looks a chief threat despite having ground to make up on the selection from their clash at Royal Acot in June. The gap between them should diminish as conditions at Royal Acot were much too quick for winner of the Irish 1000 Guineas. Heaven Sent is a regular in this sort of contest and should be better suited by this return to a mile. Goodwood has never really been her track either so it may be best not to read too much into her run behind Rainbow View in the Nassau Stakes. Mad About You has been operating at a couple of levels lower than this and looks to have plenty on her plate. But Dermot Weld is not a trainer to understimate and she does having winning form on easy ground. Although punter are in danger of following Rainbow View off a cliff, she should be given another chance.
