Zidane disappointed on his handicap debut at Windsor last time and, while he may be better than that showing would suggest, James Fanshawe's colt is probably best watched today so preference is for Raymond's Pride, who gets the vote ahead of Swinbrook. The last mentioned was good value for his success at Nottingham last term and lost no caste in defeat behind the well treated Idle Power on his return so has to be respected on ground that should suit. Briannsta gave little cause for optimism on his return and of more interest may be Pure Imagination, who needs to come on for his run behind Swinbrook but is entitled to. Michael Jarvis has his string in good form so Lake Chini can be expected to be thereabouts, while Willhewiz lost no caste in defeat at Bath under similar conditions last time and is another worthy of respect. The vote though goes to Raymond's Pride, who should be better suited by the ground today than at Redcar on his reappearance and hails from a yard in form.
