Rasid showed bags of promise when runner-up in a big field on his only outing to date at Newmarket a year ago and will take some beating if he is fit enough for this resumption. Touch Closer won a bumper on his racecourse bow at Ayr in March and was then third in the championship bumper at Aintree, but this looks a tough test and he may do better when handicapped. First Charter cost 160,000 gns and is from a good family and a top stable. He showed promise last term, while Kishari is a well-bred filly from a stable which does well with it's second season horses. A move in the market for her should be noted. Ocean Star was a promising third on his debut earlier this month, but the form is not working out and he was unplaced at Windsor earlier this week.
