Attlee has been called some names after finishing runner-up four times on the sand, but in truth he has done little wrong and he cannot be discounted. Pancakehill showed promise last term and scored on her reappearance at Southwell a fortnight ago on fast ground. The step up to 10F suited there and the drop back in trip today may not be entirely suitable. Washington Pink has yet to win a race, but has run well in decent company, while Steely Dan did well on sand during the winter, but has had his limitations exposed of late. Forzacurity changed hands after winning a seller at Beverley last summer, was not disgraced afterwards and gets weight from most of his rivals here. Larky's Lob romped home in two sellers on sand at Southwell but has been well beaten on grass of late.
