Mubaah did little wrong when winning a maiden at Kempton on his reappearance and is entitled to respect coming from an in-form stable. However, the race-time was hardly impressive and his middle stalls position is less than ideal at Ripon. Therefore he could be taken on with something like Wicked Uncle, who shaped up well on his reappearance and could make a bold bid from stall 15. The booking of George Duffield is also a plus against his name. Polar Impact and Aunty Mary are also shortlist material; along with the front-running Sir Northerndancer who could set the race up for a strong finisher like Wicked Uncle.
