It is hard to be dogmatic in a race of this nature but, as Paul Blockley has excelled himself in sending out winners in this grade, Kelseas Kolby is given the vote over Relative Hero and City General, who are expected to put up the most resistance out of the rest. The selection obviously likes his racing here; having won two sellers at the track during the last six months - both of which were gained with a little bit in hand of his nearest rivals. The terms of this race do not make it easy for the son of Perugino as the likes of Relative Hero and City General do not have much to find to figure strongly at the weights. However, recent form just swings the pendulum back towards Kelseas Kolby and the gelding is fancied to have the slender edge when he is asked to dug deep into his reserves near the finish.
