Seleet made a pleasing debut when unfancied at Beverley and can score again today at the main expense of Monte Alto, Rule Of Life and Masai Moon. Michael Jarvis' Seleet may well prove to be better over further in time but he was impressive sweeping late to win on debut and looks worth siding with today. His mark of 80 is high enough for the time being but the stable is in good nick and he looks the call. Masai Moon has tried a variety of trips but has gone close over this seven furlongs before and must have very solid place claims at least. He will appreciate any rain that comes. Le Singe Noir has been in consistent form on the all-weather and is another for the place pot punter, however Monte Alto could be of more interest on his handicap debut. He is bred to improve with age. Curzon Prince went close on his handicap debut and can go well now back on turf, as can Rule Of Life who romped to victory last time out. What he beat is debatable however and so we will pass him over, and return to Seleet as the selection.
