In depth

Verdict

Dome Rock is bred to be a winner as a two-year-old and can make a winning debut today at the main expense of Brassini and fellow newcomers Mazzanti and Hatta Fort. Luca Cumani has his stable in good form and with this his first two-year-old of the season, he could make a winning start. His sire won over this trip in his first year racing and with the last two winners of this race coming from a low draw, stall five could be advantageous. Brassini has run two good races so far but the feeling is that he may just need an extra furlong before he can score, so the newcomers Hatta Fort and Western Art look very much of interest. However the former may need further in time, whilst Western Art represents a trainer who has some very smart two-year-olds so the market may help guide. An Scaribh is another to monitor for support however Dome Rock can make a winning debut.
