Verdict

Quite surprising to see BENANDONNER turn up in selling company considering that he was far from disgraced on his latest outing when beaten less than ten lengths by the winner in the ultra-competitive Victoria Cup handicap at Ascot. He's way clear of this field on official ratings and should score with something to spare on all known form. Mighty Clarets is on the downgrade these days whilst maintaining a decent level of form in lowly company and looks the obvious one to bustle up the selection. Aussie Blue hasn't seemed to enjoy his two hurdling ventures one jot this year and is brought back to the level in an attempt to rekindle enthusiasm presumably. He's next best if rediscovering the form he showed in modest handicaps last year.
