Verdict

Brian Meehan introduces a son of Dansili in Dean Swift but he faces no easy task on his debut up against Richard Hannon's VANGUARD DREAM, who created a favourable impression when winning first time up on soft ground at Goodwood and he can follow up that success and win again. Paul Cole's Tinkertown seemed not to handle the soft ground at Newmarket last time so looks best watched with a bigger threat likely to come from Try The Chance. Mick Channon's colt probably did not beat a great deal when a narrow winner of an auction maiden at Bath on his debut but there is undoubtedly more to come from him.
