Gunnadoit is selected to land the finale with with Ovthenight, Black Dahlia and Mista Rossa others to consider. Michael Bells' gelding won what was a very weak classified stakes at Brighton last month and while not looking the most straight-forward in land the odds, a re-production of his second at Kempton on his penultimate start would see him go close. Ovthenight is another to have landed a weak contest last time, that been at Southwell although evidently appreciating the sounder surface. Black Dahlia will appreciate the additional two furlongs on offer here as he appeared one paced at Redcar and ran on in much the similar style to land a 10f contest at Great Leighs two outings back. Missta Rossa was bitterly disappointing at Bath last time but was a winner an all-weather winner at Kempton previously which would indicate the quicker surface on offer today should not inconvenience him. Gunnadoit gets the vote to land the finale but support for the Hughie Morrison trained Missta Rossa would be significant.
