Verdict

My Mate Pete is selected to overcome the burden of a low draw and award those seeking some value in this seller. Although the winners are taking a while to flow for the Linda Stubbs' yard, the horses are competitive and while the recent form of My Mate Pete would fail to arouse excitement, this fast surface is likely to suit while the likely fast pace could just suit one coming from behind and one of those will be the selection. Paul Hanagan has a 20% strike rate from a handful of rides for the yard in recent years. Our Sunnie is the likely market leader after a Redcar victory earlier this month. The visor was applied on his last two starts and question marks would exist with regard to his attitude as he does possess an awkward head carriage. Bahama Baileys deserves consideration hailing from the Mark Johnson yard and has a high draw but question marks would exist with regard to his ability to see out a truly run 7f contest. Wave Hill contested some hot maidens last season and was nibbled at on his most recent outing. He is another than deserves respect but a speculative selection is My Mate Pete.
